12 Wedding Blogs to Help Plan Your Wedding

You just got engaged (so exciting!!) and there’s a world of wedding decisions out there waiting for you!  Colors, venue, flowers, order of ceremony, the list goes on.  I’ve put together a list of my favorite wedding blogs to help you plan your day.

Madison capitol building and Best Western Park Hotel

NOTE:  While I’ve listed 12 here, my suggestion would be to quickly check them all out, then choose no more than 2 that fit your personal style the best.  Then use those to find articles and pin images that inspire you and ignore the rest.  Too much inspiration can be incredibly overwhelming and the internet has it in spades. 🙂

That said, here’s the list!  Dig in!

A couple more tips:

  1. If you’re still overwhelmed, many of these websites let you filter posts by region or color scheme.  Filtering out the colors you know you don’t like will help reduce overwhelm and narrow your options!
  2.  You will also see many “weddings” that are actually styled shoots.  This means that florists, bridal boutiques, photographers, and other vendors have gotten together and staged a “wedding” in order to build their portfolios and inspire their brides.  These are meant to awe and inspire and are generally the picture of internet perfection.  Remember that the point of your wedding is that you’re getting married to the love of your life!  10 years from now, that perfect tablescape will be “ugly” and dated, but you’ll fondly remember the intimate first look you shared with your groom, the necklace your grandmother gave you for your something blue, or the tears in your dad’s eyes as he gave you away.  Keep your focus on what matters and soak up every moment of this exciting time of your life!

Hope this helps!
