The number of people who were able to make it to my mom’s family’s reunion in New Hampshire this year astounds me. We are literally scattered from sea to shining sea – Bonnie and Kris are stationed in Washington state and two of us came from the Midwest (Wisconsin and Illinois). We also had family representing from Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Tennessee. It was so special to have everyone together and I was so excited to be able to get some family photos for us all to treasure!
The only way to photograph this one? ^ Moving! No family reunion is complete without a slip n’ slide. With plenty of grass for the big kids to slide over on of course 😉
This is the first time our extended family has done family photos together!
Remember the equine session that I did? (here: http://amylynnphotoblog.com/equine-session-8t-acres/) That was Ashley’s barn and those were her horses. She also just gave birth to this sweet little girl <3 We even managed to get a photo of Braelyn and Grandpa!
^^^^^Oh, and this is my family <3 I’m so glad we got this photo, because we were planning to a separate family session later in our visit, but didn’t get to it! It became even more special when we found out just a few days after we all got home that my sister is moving to Tanzania, Africa for a year starting in September!
^^^^^The grands and great grands!
And the whole gang! ^^^^
Papa with his 6 surviving children. My grandpa is a pretty cool Swede. Just sayin’. And we have the same day of birth so that’s nifty. September is a good month to be born! Happy early birthday, Papa!
