So, here’s the thing. Getting people all dressed up and taking pretty pictures in a pretty place is all well and good. But my favorite photos are always when people are in their favorite place with their favorite people. So it is with the Nankeys. This is part two of their family session and we did it on their farm. Not only did we have a blast, but these are also some of my favorites of all time!
Guys, these are not in between faces…these are her actual faces!!!!! ^
Kristin helped me scout locations before their session – I felt like I was channeling my inner Joanna Gaines with these silos. 😉
^ Molly, show us your awesome blade of grass that is way cooler than all the other blades of grass!! ^
> This girl reminds me of her little brother the last time we did family pictures 🙂 We could not get him to sit still!
For some reason, she is obsessed with my lens hood, so that bought us a few moments in time.
Ashley had to show Molly how to pet the kitty nicely instead of poke it! >
The last image in this series is so funny! I was sitting on the couch at their house after the session, quickly picking some of my favorites (a splendid reason to hang out with my nieces and nephew more 😉 and we were laughing about that last image because it looks like Molly is plotting something!
Zach (who is 4) looked over at the image and said confidently, “She’s making plans to make THAT kitten into a CLOAK!”
Needless to say, there was much laughter – I don’t even know how that popped into his head!
So much cuteness right there! I’m so glad I could capture this beautiful family in their natural habitat!
